Nancy Wake – ‘The White Mouse’ of World War II

Guerrilla Fighter, Smuggler and Spy – Nancy Wake. Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia. A one time journalist answered her true calling and became a French Freedom Fighter against the Germans after they invaded her current home country – France.

Dangerously transporting and smuggling men out of France and risking her own life daily. Surviving days of German interrogation and heading back to Britain only to parachute back into France, blowing up German occupied buildings, enemy combat, and killing with her own bare hands.

Years after the war, Wake would join politics back in Australia, write and publish her Biography titled – ‘The White Mouse’ – which the Germans nicknamed her years after the war. 

Wake passed away in 2011, 98 years of age.
